Double Rainbow Over Ashley Reservoir, Massachusetts - (Multiple Sizes!)

🌈Rare Double Rainbow Moment – I was on my way home from Boston, and it was raining heavily on and off. I had just heard about Ashley Reservoir that morning, randomly, from an online group. I was tired and wanted to get home, but something was pushing me to go check it out. After a short walk on a trail in the woods, I came out to this beautiful tree enclosed space where the majority of the paths are surrounded by water. I thought I was in a dream! The sun kept coming out for brief moments from behind the clouds and then would disappear again.

Another person was nearby taking photos with her phone. I had been tracking the sun and yelled out that the photos would be better in about 5 minutes when the sun came out from behind the clouds again. It was raining lightly at that time and she suggested that we might see a rainbow. I waited patiently and then saw it start to form! She had turned around to take photos of some lily pads, so I yelled out with excitement, "RAINBOW!!!" Then I started taking photos and captured the one you see here. 😊
